Anytime and anywhere we go, we always see people filming or taking photos of themselves. Of course, there may be various reasons why these people are doing it. Some are just for fun while others do so to earn a living.
As for this Physical Education teacher named Khing Hnin Wai, she did not expect that a random dance video she was filming at a location close to the parliament complex in Naypyidaw, the capital of Myanmar, one sunny morning will be a historic video clip.
This is because she turned out to have filmed the exact moment where the military staged a coup after losing the election to state counselor Aung San Suu Kyi’s party.
According to Buzzooks, the new Parliament session was supposed to start on that day but they were all surprised when military vehicles which were armored vans and black vehicles kept coming to the location and entered the complex for a coup. These vehicles were all captured in the short clip by teacher Khing.
Unaware of the chaos happening behind her, teacher Khing still continued with her dance routine as passionately as she can.
People who came across the clip cannot help but point out teacher Khing as the exact description of the popular line, “calm in the face of danger.”
In an interview, Khing revealed that she was just too intent on making the video because she will submit it for a competition. She no longer concerned herself about the vehicles rushing in her background. Well, the only question that remains now is, did she win?
