Grandpa wraps kid in plastic so she can hug her frontliner dad

The health crisis the whole world is facing now has made us realize a lot of things. One of these is valuing quality family time which some people often neglect because of the fast-paced world we live in.

Now that almost everyone is stuck at home, family time has now become longer but, for others, especially those that have family members who are working as front liners, family time is a luxury that they cannot afford.

Just like in this heartbreaking reunion of a father, who’s working as a policeman and his beloved daughter.

In a video uploaded by Debbie Bustos Contreras and is now spreading online, a kid is seen being wrapped in plastic and made to wear a mask by her grandpa in preparation for something. As it turns out, the plastic and the mask will serve as her protective gear to meet with her dad who works as a front liner.

The girl then ran towards her dad’s patrol car hugged him tightly as maybe they haven’t seen each other for a long time because of the nature of the work her dad has to do which is extremely dangerous especially now that a disease which is something invisible is quickly spreading.

According to Buzzooks, many found the encounter so sweet and so heartbreaking that netizens just couldn’t help but cry over the moment, even if they don’t even know this family.

We truly commend all the front liners for doing such a noble sacrifice. Even sacrificing not being able to be with their families for a long time in order to serve their country is something only these brave people can do. We salute all of you!

Que duro. Nunca, ni en sueños creíamos que íbamos a ver esto algún día.
