When riding a bus, it is inevitable that there will be times when some people will be forced to just stand as the seats inside can no longer accommodate them. Despite standing up being a tiring position especially when the traveling time is quite long, there are still people who choose to do it, especially when they are in a rush or are eager to get to wherever their destination is.
Just like this woman named Sam Francisco Datu who was left standing up as the bus she rode was fully packed. She then shares two photos on her Facebook account which features a man sitting on her back. He post was captioned “sa panahon ngayon wala ng gentleman.”
It so happened that the man in the photo came across her post and shared his side of the story.
Facebook user Denmark Maranan felt sad after seeing the post and somehow felt that he should do something so his name will be cleared. According to him, he wakes up at 4 AM from Monday to Saturday to go to work from Pandi, Bulacan to Sta. Cruz, Manila.
Denmark also added that if he can be lucky, he gets home together with his wife at 8:30 PM but if he is stuck in traffic, he gets home at 9 or 10 PM. The exhaustion out of the everyday commute gets the best of him every single time which is why as much as possible, he tries to sleep even on the bus on the way to or from work.
In his post, Denmark extended his apology to Ms. Sam Francisco Datu for not being able to offer his seat to her because of the exhaustion he was feeling. He did so as he was unable to get to Datu after searching for her on the said social media platform.
Miss Francisco later posted a video saying that it was not her intention to drag the guy into this issue and just forgotten to cover his face with an emoji when she uploaded the photo. Here is the video.

Meanwhile, after seeing the post, netizens have various reactions. There are those who supported the sentiments of Datu and there are also others who sympathized with Denmark. What about you? What can you say about this?
