CCTV captures woman from Wuhan spitting on a doorknob in her apartment building

Now that the nCov outbreak has reached a global scale and has become a subject of international concern for health organizations, it can’t be helped that people are being extra vigilant especially in those areas where a huge number of suspected cases are continuing to rise.

This is why a woman is now being called out by Chinese netizens to come out and receive a serious punishment after the dreadful act that she has done.

According to Shanghaiist, a video of a woman spitting onto a doorknob in one apartment community in Wuhan surfaced online. The footage shows the woman sneaking around the lobby door and spewing saliva on the doorknob before cautiously creeping away while keeping an eye out for anyone who might have seen her.

Although it still remains unclear whether the woman is infected with nCov or not, the said video was enough for many people to seek help from the police. After the footage came to their attention, officers soon arrived in hazmat suits to sanitize the area.

Meanwhile, the said community where the video was taken already reported 30 confirmed nCov cases and 90 individuals who are still under observation because of showing signs of fever. As it was previously reported, Wuhan is the epicenter of the virus and worldwide there are currently 43,143 confirmed cases and 1,018 deaths from the Wuhan Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) outbreak as of February 11, 2020 as recorded by Worldmeters.

On the other hand, the government of Hubei has sternly warned its citizens that anyone who intentionally spreads nCov could face criminal cases and penalties.

As of writing time, there is still no update on the identity of the woman in the video. Because warning has already been announced by the government, may this be a realization and also a warning for the rest of the world to help not in spreading the virus but in fighting against it. After all, we are all people living here on Earth and no one else can help us but ourselves.
