Vlogger shares a video of once busy Wuhan City, people are now calling it “ghost town”

Since the outbreak of Coronavirus, records of death and cases of people affected by it are increasing at an alarming rate. Because of this, government agencies from all over the world took drastic measures to keep their citizens free from the deadly virus.

Wuhan City in China, where the first case of the coronavirus was reported is one of the places that is greatly affected by the outbreak. So, authorities decided to put the entire city where 11 million people reside in total lockdown.

According to Livescience, the first cases of the pneumonia-like virus were reported in Wuhan, China, on Dec. 31, 2019. Since then, the virus has spread to various other countries, including Thailand, Japan, the Republic of Korea, the United States, Australia, France, Taiwan, among others

Shanghaiist reports that residents of Wuhan have been told to stay indoors and avoid strangers. To enter any public place, they are required to wear a mask.

So, to give people from all over a view of what is now happening in Wuhan, a vlogger named Yang Ke documented the city by using his drone and his skateboard shots.

In the said video shared via Youtube by CGTN, it can be seen that the roads and sidewalks which used to be swamped with people are now nearly empty with not a single shadow of a person in sight.

Many people who came across the said footage noted that Wuhan almost seems like a “ghost town” where only a few or even no person lives. Of course, “ghost town” is just a concept created by the imaginative minds of writers.

But, who would have thought that such a concept can occur in real life? No one has, but it all boils down to the outbreak of a deadly disease no one has prepared for.

We continue to pray for Wuhan and the rest of the world, for the virus to no longer spread, and for a cure to soon be formulated so that no more lives will be wasted by this deadly virus.
