Ironman gives a $275K custom-made Captain America-themed car to the first Avenger

The whole Avengers series has made headlines and outstanding cinema ticket sales for the past few years. With another recent installment to the movie series entitled Avengers: Endgame, fans all over the world are more hyped than ever as to what will be the fate of their favorite superheroes in the Marvel series.

With all the attention the movie is getting, it is no longer surprising that the stars in the series are earning millions of dollars. Plus, the strong friendship bond they build with each other.

In a recent interview, one of the main characters in the movie series, Captain America himself, Chris Evans revealed that he received quite an extravagant gift from his co-star, Robert Downey Jr. The gift is nothing less than a car: The $275,000 Chevrolet Camaro which was designed by Downey and has an awesome Captain America theme.

Chris Evans spoke about the pricey present when he was a guest in an episode of Jay Leno’s Garage. According to Evans, Robert Downey Jr. had repeatedly asked him what kind of cars he liked while they were filming Avengers: Endgame. Although Evans had a hunch that the real Iron Man was planning something, he never expected a personalized gift from his Avengers: Infinity War co-star.

So what’s so special about the “expensive” gift to Evans?

Elite Readers revealed that the 1967 Chevrolet Camaro was fully restored and customized by SpeedKore, a custom car designer located near Milwaukee in Grafton, Wisconsin. Downey himself made sure that the vehicle would have some awesome details including the Captain America shield on the steering wheel, Ford Performance Recaro seats, and Eureka European leather upholstery.
