Over the years, there has been records of child-kidnapping incidents which were linked to have been caused by various syndicates that are making a living out of this illegal activity.
Now, a lady who has confessed to being part of a kidnapping syndicate has revealed more alarming details as to how their group operates and what happens to their victims.
In a report by Kami, Lilibeth Bustamante, who was caught by authorities on February 20, after she tried to forcefully take a 10-year-old from BF Homes, Parañaque has decided to cooperate with authorities and has revealed more details on the alleged operation in order to lower her sentence.
Previously, it was reported that a 10-year-old girl was outside their home when Lilibeth held her arm tightly and asked her to help her find a loading station. She was saved in time by a neighbor, and barangay officials ultimately caught the old lady.
Lilibeth shockingly stated that there are five of them in the group and each has his or her own area to cover. She has kidnapped children from San Pedro to Sta. Rosa, Laguna. In her interview with ABS-CBN, Lilibeth revealed that since she joined the group in October 2018, there have been more than 20 children who were kidnapped.
After having failed to take the 10-year-old yesterday, Lilibeth stated they tried to kidnap one kid from Cavite.
She also revealed that every week, they have a quota to kidnap 2 children, to be supplied to foreigner-clients for cyber. Their target age is 10-years-old upwards. They allegedly pay between P70K to P100K for these children.
Parents, may this serve as a warning to always keep an eye on your children especially that these kidnapping syndicate may potentially be present in your area too. After all, there is no harm in taking extra caution for the good of your children.
