No matter how rich, Bill Gates still waits in line to buy his favorite burger

Sure, being rich does give a person a lot of privileges and free passes to almost anything. But, there are still rich people who choose to live a simple life and even consider themselves just ordinary individuals who experience the same things that everyone else does.

Even the richest people in the planet are no exception. Take for example, Bill Gates who happen to be one of the richest men in the world was recently photographed lining up in front of his favorite burger stand patiently waiting for his turn to be served.

Apparently, the billionaire in his red sweater, gray pants, and black sneakers, was spotted patiently waiting in a queue at Dick’s Drive-In in Seattle over the weekend. A photo of him was then taken from the Wallingford neighborhood and uploaded to a closed alumni board page by Mike Galos, a former Microsoft employee.

“When you’re worth about USD100,000,000,000, run the largest charity in the history of the world and stand in line for a burger, fries, and Coke at Dick’s like the rest of us,” the caption of the photo reads.

With a net worth of $95.5 billion, nobody would’ve guessed that somebody like Bill Gates would prefer a meal that costs merely $7.68! The deluxe burger from the drive-in costs $3.40, while the fries and a can of Coke are $1.90 and $2.38, respectively.

“Bill’s not big on attention but is generally friendly and understands he’s a bit of a celebrity. I’ve chatted with him at parties before but on the street or in a restaurant I don’t know him well enough to go over and say hi,” Galos further said.

Not only is he a fan of Dick’s-a burger chain in Seattle, Washington, Bill Gates turns out to be a regular customer of Burgermaster in Bellevue as well. A photo of him in front of the said burger joint has also been shared on the internet before.

Bill Gates may be someone many look up to because of his achievements in life but we should also see, admire and emulate this ‘unknown-to-many’ side of him that is to keep your feet on the ground and let the noise of your success speak for itself.
