Lucky man finds a wallet containing more than $4,000 from bundle of used clothes he bought for $24

They say hard work beats luck but, it is still true that some people are simply extremely lucky even for just once in their lives.

It can be said that luck was really on the side of this man when he was able to come across a huge amount of cash after buying a used clothes bundle for a cheap price. The lucky was identified as 29-year-old Wan Mohamad Adam Wan Mohamed, a would-be businessman who was planning on opening his own thrift shop in Kampung Tualang Salak, Kelantan in Malaysia.

Fully aware that his business will earn him a promising amount of money, Mohamed built a shop and went to a warehouse to buy bundles of clothes to sell. He has been buying bundles of used clothing several times from the same warehouse but he got lucky recently with the items he purchased.

Last January 13, Mohamed went to the warehouse and took home two bundles of clothes which he paid $24 for. Back at his store, he began to sort the items to arrange in the shop.

While going through the clothes, Mohamed found a wallet in one of the shorts. The black wallet was filled with cash!

Mohamed said, “I was shocked to see so much cash in it and after counting the money, I took some pictures and uploaded it on Facebook” the surprised businessman shared. I’ve changed 450,000 yen into local currency $4,150 and the rest will be kept as a memory. I will use the money to expand my business in the future.”

So, the next time you visit a thrift shop, better check out the pockets of those jeans and shirts because who knows? You may be the next lucky person to earn thousands of cash!
