Shy girl turns into a “singing beast” and gets the golden buzzer in AGT

Oftentimes, talent shows pave the way for people with talents that are left hidden to be discovered and let themselves shine. To let the population know what they are capable of doing and share the gift they have not just to people around them but to the rest of world.

This is exactly the case with a shy girl who was only encouraged by her family to join America’s Got Talent as they sincerely belief that through her talent, she can make a name for herself.

Courtney Hadwin, a 13-year-old girl piled up all the courage she has in order to carry herself to audition for the esteemed talent show. When she first stepped up on stage, it was really evident that she feels really nervous as it can be seen in her gestures and even in her voice.

Lucky for Courtney, she was repeatedly encouraged by the judges to just do her thing on stage and that they are just there to support her.

When, she started singing, everyone was really shocked with her great voice as she belted out  Otis Redding’s “Hard to Handle.” The judges were also stunned that she could perform in a very entertaining way as compared to her shy personality when she first came in.

As all of them gave positive comments on Courtney’s performance, Howie Mandel stepped up his game when he decided to push the Golden Buzzer button. “You are not from this era. You’re from a whole different era,” the judge said.

Meanwhile, Courtney also expressed her feelings after the show through her twitter account. She said “I didn’t know what to expect when I auditioned for AGT but the golden buzzer was more than I ever could have dreamed of.”
