Local news in Indonesia broke about a woman who had her tragic end after she was being swallowed by a python a day after she was reported missing.
According to the media, villagers and authorities on the Southeast Sulawesi province of Indonesia found the particular python as they were in search of the missing 54-year-old woman identified as Wa Tiba.
On their hunt appeared traces of the woman’s belongings which led them to suspect that the snake might have eaten her alive.
The suspicious villagers brought the python back to the village and cut it open. A horrific picture if a woman lying face-down then appeared as the snake’s body was split open in front of the onlookers.
The incident was not new to the village as a man-victim was also found lifeless inside the snake’s body at a palm oil plantation in West Sulawesi in March last year.
