Do you all remember Xian Gaza? He was the guy who spent a lot of effort just to ask the actress Erich Gonzales for a cup of coffee by posting it on a billboard located in Morayta. His stunt gain a lot of attention on social media and gain a lot of praise from netizens turning him into a star of the hour.
Gaza claimed to be the chief executive officer of the Guanxiqian Group based in Hong Kong or so we thought, for he was then later exposed as a scammer by many of his former business partners in the past.
Unfortunately for the so called businessman, karma strikes hard for he faced multiple charges against him from Jaime Asuncion and Melinda Cruz by tricking them on investing in a coffee shop he said he was working on. It is said that Gaza received ₱3 million in total from the two and didn’t even bother paying them back.
According to Gaza was intercepted by InterPol and was arrested by NBI (National Bureau of Investigation) at NAIA Terminal 2 upon his arrival last Tuesday (April 10).
That being said, Gaza has surrendered himself to the Malabon police after receiving two for his arrest were issued over an alleged investment scam as reported on the Philippine Star‘s Facebook page
While behind bars, Gaza told the reporters that he admits that he has done wrong and said he wants to change once released.
“I became a scammer. I became a fraud along the way. I really hate the person I’ve become” – he added.
Gaza then later revealed that he is now broke and is asking some of his closest friends to pitch ₱160,000 for his bail out.
While of some of the netizens feel bad for Gaza, there are some who were delighted he is now behind bars due to his crimes.
Here he is asking his “supporters and fans” for donation to take him out of the jail temporarily.
