Education indeed is one of the most important things in life. It is a treasure that cannot be stolen by anyone. You may lose money, house, and any other tangible things but you will never lose the education that you have worked hard for.
This must have been the mentality that continuously encouraged this viral 66-year-old woman to still pursue her education despite her age.
In a post by Facebook user Rahima Tambag, she shared photos along with a caption that says “66 years old grade 10 oldest student completer of 2018 is found at Cotabato City National High School-Main Campus Cotabato City.”
Photos uploaded with the post shows a woman who proudly holds up her diploma as a completer of Grade 10 in the k-12 curriculum.
Another photo shows the smiling faces of teachers as they hand over the diploma to the still unnamed woman. It is evident that they too are proud of the achievement she made in her life.
Netizens share the same sentiment with them as the post was flooded with comments of praise and congratulatory messages for the old woman. In fact, in just 14 hours since it was posted, the post already gained 27,000 reactions, 19,000 shares and 1,000 comments.
