Computer store manager stabs own customer after altercation for failing to present claim stub

Good customer relationships is one of the essential ingredients to a successful business endeavor. Treating customers well will enable the owner to establish a good interpersonal relationship with them thus, contributing to the prosperity of the business.

However, this certain store manager has somehow lost his cool during an argument with a customer. Their quarrel even resulted to the unfortunate death of the poor customer.

In a report by Inquirer, at a certain computer service center inside a mall in Quezon City, a customer named Geroldo Ramon Lopez decided to claim a laptop that he allegedly left in the store for repair. But, he failed to produce the claim stub which is the sole proof that he is indeed the owner of the repaired laptop.

As a result, he was engaged in a heated argument with the store manager named Leo Laab.

Witnesses said the victim left the store and he returned a few minutes later and a more heated argument rose between him and the manager.

The suspect then pulled out a bladed weapon and stabbed the victim.

The guards of the mall also made an effort to rush the victim to the Sioson Hospital but he was pronounced dead on arrival due to stabwounds according to Quezon City Police director Chief Supt. Guillermo Eleazar.

Laab managed to escape the scene and authorities now issued a hot pursuit operation for his immediate arrest.
